What is Scavland?
Scavland is a hardcore top-down pixel-art survival RPG by NoShadow, set in a post-apocalyptic Soviet world. You scavenge the wastes and forgotten bunkers, take dangerous jobs, build reputation with factions, and fight mutants, hostile survivors, radiation, and the deadly Mist.
When does Scavland release?
Scavland enters Steam Early Access on September 4, 2026. The developers expect Early Access to run roughly 12 to 24 months, starting with Act I of three planned story acts.
Is Scavland single-player or multiplayer?
At Early Access launch Scavland is a single-player experience. A cooperative multiplayer mode is planned for a future update during Early Access development.
Does Scavland support controllers and Steam Deck?
Yes — Scavland ships with full controller support and Steam Deck compatibility when Early Access begins on September 4, 2026.
